I have been working as a full time milliner since 2013. All my pieces are designed and created by me in my Riddells Creek studio.

My Grandmother was a milliner so I like to think it’s in my DNA!

I have an extensive wooden block collection and each piece is lovingly blocked before being hand stitched with the utmost of patience, care and love - and hopefully a sense of fun!

My work has featured on numerous catwalks, magazines and Fashions on the Field (FOTF) - I’ve had the thrill of having one of my pieces walk a Parisian catwalk and Possum Ball Millinery has even made an appearance at the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace!  I have had the honour of being part of Melbourne Fashion Week as part of their “Boldy Different” exhibition. 

I have worked in collaboration with Ooroo Australia, making millinery pieces featuring award-winning textiles from Aboriginal artists and talented emerging textile designers.

I am the owner and in-house tutor at The Millinery Retreat School of Millinery, located in Riddells Creek in the Macedon Ranges.  As a teacher, I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping others develop their skills. My approach to teaching is hands-on and supportive, ensuring that each student receives personalized guidance and encouragement. Whether a beginner or an experienced milliner, I am dedicated to helping students unlock their potential and achieve their creative goals.

I am one of the in-house milliners at the pop up millinery store, The Hat Shop, which sees me working in collaboration with other Melbourne milliners.

I have judged millinery at the Millinery Association of Australia’s Design Award, The Royal Melbourne Show and have been a judge and guest speaker at various spring fashion events.

In 2019/2020/2024 I was President of the Millinery Association of Australia, a role which saw me responsible for the leadership, direction and coordination of responsibilities for the association.

My wish when creating my pieces is that you have as much fun wearing them as I have creating them!
